Bandai Namco kicked off summer with a blast of trailers, reveals, and fan-service during its latest showcase—basically a hype reel for anime lovers, retro die-hards, and fighting game addicts alike. From surprise sequels to deep-cut fan favorites, there was a little something for everyone. Here’s what stood out:

My Hero Academia: All’s Justice

A new arena fighter is on the way, and it’s all about the Final War arc from My Hero Academia. Called “All’s Justice,” this 3D battler focuses on cinematic 3v3 fights where you can smash together your favorite Heroes and Villains in their most powered-up forms. Bandai Namco promises a fully voiced story mode, heavy-hitting specials, and visuals sharp enough to make even Bakugo blush. Think high-flying anime chaos with a bigger emphasis on spectacle.

Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree

Next up, we got a new look at Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree—a gorgeous roguelite action RPG from Brownies inc. The game pairs Towa with one of several Guardians to take on waves of monstrous foes. Expect tight combat, colorful anime visuals, and plenty of character-switching depth. This one drops September 19, 2025, and yes, there’s a custom PC giveaway if you’re into that kind of thing.

Code Vein 2

Blood and big swords return in Code Vein 2, where humanity and vampires mix in another stylish, hard-hitting action RPG. The sequel introduces a time-travel mechanic and new characters caught in an apocalyptic battle to prevent world-ending doom. No release date yet, but the trailer sets the tone: expect more dramatic anime hair, oversized weapons, and gothic atmosphere for days.

Shadow Labyrinth

Shadow Labyrinth leans hard into retro arcade vibes, complete with a boss inspired by PAC-MAN’s Blinky. This stylish 2D platformer blends pixel art charm with tough-as-nails action. If you miss the brutal simplicity of classic side-scrollers but still want modern flair, this one’s for you.

Tekken 8

In the fighting game corner, Tekken 8 is bringing back Fahkumram, the Muay Thai monster. The devs even traveled to Thailand to nail the character’s authenticity and fight style. Expect bruising knees, brutal elbows, and a July 7 drop for the new DLC character.

Digimon Story Time Stranger

The first new mainline Digimon Story in a decade, Digimon Story Time Stranger introduces a massive world where more than 450 Digimon await. The game promises a deep turn-based battle system, expansive exploration, and a new storyline that’s friendly to both longtime fans and new players. With its striking anime visuals and creature collecting at its heart, this is shaping up to be one of the most significant Digimon releases in years.

Little Nightmares 3

Fans of eerie puzzle-platformers have plenty to look forward to with Little Nightmares 3, releasing October 10. For the first time in the series, players can tackle the nightmare together in two-player co-op, either solo with an AI companion or with a friend. The unsettling world and grotesque creatures return with new horrors, as players guide new protagonists Low and Alone through atmospheric terror in spades.

The Blood of Dawnwalker

From Rebel Wolves, The Blood of Dawnwalker is a dark fantasy open-world RPG where ancient vampire legends come alive. Featuring story-driven choices, brutal combat, and a brooding, moody world, this new IP aims to offer rich narrative depth alongside exploration. The trailer teases supernatural conflicts, moral dilemmas, and plenty of sharp teeth.

Rounding out the show were:

  • Everybody’s Golf: Hotshots—Now with PAC-MAN on the green.
  • Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’ DAIMA—New Demon Realm DLC with pint-sized Goku.

From anime battles to retro tributes, Bandai Namco’s showcase packed in more reveals than your average Summer Game Fest hour. Whether you’re here for the horror, the heart, or just the haymakers, there’s plenty on the horizon worth keeping an eye on.
