A freshly released “Bring the Boom” trailer, timed alongside the upcoming Xbox Series X/S launch, ends with a rain-drenched cityscape and a saxophone riff unmistakably lifted from ODST’s iconic soundtrack. The cheeky nod has sparked widespread speculation of a crossover event.
The tonal shift comes right after a promotional blitz set to P.O.D.’s “Boom,” yet it’s the closing jazz flourish that’s driving most of the chatter. Dropping just ahead of the game’s Xbox debut, the tease feels intentional—hinting at more than just an audio Easter egg, and possibly pointing toward themed cosmetics, missions, or an in-game event inspired by Xbox’s beloved sci-fi shooter.
