Techland has dropped a brutal new trailer for Dying Light: The Beast, revealing both the emotional stakes behind Kyle Crane’s return—and the next level of parkour and combat mechanics coming his way. Crane’s haunted visage, set against the sprawling dread of Castor Woods, teases his internal struggle to control a growing, rage-fueled Beast within. This isn’t just a visual upgrade—it’s a mechanical one, with over 100 new parkour animations and reworked melee physics that promise a grittier, more visceral feel
Originally intended as DLC for Dying Light 2, The Beast has evolved into a standalone survival horror experience that brands itself “Dying Light 3” in everything but name. Crane’s dual nature, day-night survival tension, smarter AI, vehicle segments, and visceral Beast Mode set the stage for one of the franchise’s most ambitious chapters yet.
The trailer also confirms what fans have been waiting to hear—Dying Light: The Beast launches September 19, 2025, on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, with PS4 and Xbox One versions to follow.
Still on the fence? If the trailer’s any indication, Dying Light: The Beast isn’t just a retread—it’s a rebirth. With new parkour, smarter enemies, and a brooding protagonist caught between man and monster, Techland is aiming to land hard when the survival horror sequel drops later this month.
