Ready or Not Crosses 3 Million Sales On Console

Ready or Not is breaching console milestones.

VOID Interactive’s tactical shooter Ready or Not is showing no signs of slowing down. The game has now sold more than 3 million units on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, just over seven weeks after hitting consoles, pushing its total sales across all platforms past 13 million.

The surge cements Ready or Not as one of the rare tactical shooters to break through on console. It racked up one million sales in just four days, hit two million by the end of July, and hasn’t let up since. Critical reception has been strong too, with Metacritic scores of 83 on Xbox Series X|S and 80 on PS5, echoing the solid reputation it built during its PC run. Full crossplay between PC and consoles has also widened the player pool, making squad queues quick and matchmaking easier.

To mark the milestone, the game has received its first-ever Xbox discount—20% off the base game and all DLC until September 11. Not exactly a fire sale, but for anyone who’s been curious about diving in, it’s a small nudge to pick it up while the community is at its busiest.

Ready or Not isn’t the kind of game that appeals to everyone—its blend of tense room-clearing, slow tactical pacing, and punishing gunfights sits far from the power-fantasy shooters most players know. But for console fans looking for something closer to SWAT 4 than Call of Duty, the numbers show it’s already found its audience.
