Final Fantasy XIV recently dropped Patch 7.35 bringing a solid mix of content additions, challenges, and crossover flair. The centerpiece is the new Pilgrim’s Traverse Deep Dungeon, a randomized dungeon mode with fresh mechanics to test even seasoned adventurers.
In Pilgrim’s Traverse, players explore multiple floors, gathering pomanders and treasures while upgrading their Aetherpool weapons. Compared to previous Deep Dungeons, this iteration includes more save points, a brand-new incense system that summons the aid of King Feo Ul, and votive candles that shake up each level’s layout and difficulty.
The patch also brings new story content, expanding the ongoing narrative through Allied Society quests centered on the Yok Huy, while continuing the long-running Hildibrand Adventures side story. The fan-favorite detective returns with more over-the-top antics, adding a lighthearted break between the game’s heavier arcs.
Meanwhile, Patch 7.35 marks the debut of a brand-new Monster Hunter Wilds collaboration event, featuring a unique trial, themed gear, and a community screenshot contest for players eager to showcase their hunts in Eorzea.
It’s not a beefy update by Final Fantasy XIV standards, but it’s packed with new things to do and collect. If you’re curious about all the changes and balance tweaks, the full patch notes are available on the official site.
