Once Human isn’t slowing down—it’s mutating. The post-apocalyptic survival shooter just rolled out its Annual Version 2.0, adding a brand-new PvE scenario, announcing a hardcore PvP spin-off, and teasing console ports for PlayStation and Xbox. In other words: more nightmares, more loot, and more ways to die horribly.

The latest update, Endless Dream, is live now and easily the game’s trippiest PvE content yet. Forget your usual wasteland—this is a nightmare-themed, acid-trip version of reality where CRT televisions glow ominously, amusement parks decay in eerie mist, and teddy bears called Naivety might be the last thing you see before your screen goes black. It’s surreal, it’s dangerous, and it’s very Once Human. This warped world is fully open from the start, letting players build wherever they want without territorial restrictions, all while facing new supernatural Deviants like Agony, Misery, and the aforementioned Naivety. Survive long enough and your choices shape how the scenario ends, thanks to a five-stage dynamic progression system with multiple outcomes. Show up, dive in, and you’ll also walk away with free rewards—including 11 Lightforge Ingots—just for participating in the new event.

But if nightmares aren’t your thing and you’d rather test your survival instincts against real humans, Once Human: RaidZone has you covered. Launching July 30, this PvP-focused spin-off is built for players who think survival games just aren’t mean enough. You start with nothing, gather everything, and survive by any means necessary—even if that means betraying your so-called allies. The entire map is fair game for raids, ambushes, and double-crosses, and with the game’s signature Deviation powers reworked specifically for PvP, things are about to get extra nasty. If you’ve ever rage-quit Rust or DayZ but still secretly loved the chaos, RaidZone is probably your next obsession.

Console players won’t be left out for long either. Once Human is officially heading to PlayStation and Xbox, though the release date is still under wraps. Development is reportedly close to completion, and eager players can wishlist the game now to lock in early-bird rewards when the console versions finally drop. Given the game’s focus on fast updates and community-driven events, the console versions could open the doors to a whole new wave of chaos.

With new nightmares to conquer, new players to betray, and new platforms to invade, Once Human is aiming to keep 2025 as wild and unpredictable as possible. And if you need even more survival horror madness to fill the time between updates, don’t miss this weekend’s The Midnight Walkers playtest—because clearly, you’ve got a type.
