Palworld Devs Reveal Cozy Farming Spin-Off Palfarm

From monster taming to crop tending.

Pocketpair is branching out from survival and monster taming to farming and tranquility. The studio behind Palworld has officially announced Palworld: Palfarm, a cozy multiplayer farming life sim that trades grime and grit for crops, relationships, and quiet island life.

Unlike Palworld’s focus on survival, base building, and PvP, Palfarm emphasizes serene farm life while still retaining touches of the original’s world. Pals will help sow, water, and harvest; players can cook, craft, decorate, and deepen relationships through gift giving and daily interactions. To keep things lively, there are hints of light disharmony—“hostile Pals” may need pushing back from the farm.

The upcoming spin-off supports multiplayer, so friends can cultivate together, and is now available for wishlisting on Steam, though no release date has been confirmed.

This move mirrors a broader trend: franchises expanding into “softer” genres (see Stardew-style titles) to capture new audiences. For Pocketpair, it also provides a buffer from the challenges of Palworld’s development, including its upcoming 1.0 release, performance criticisms, and its ongoing legal battle with Nintendo over alleged patent and design conflicts.

Whether Palfarm becomes a peaceful haven or hidden battlefield is yet to be seen. What’s clear is that the Palworld universe is expanding—and now, your next adventure might start in a field, not a fortress.
