PUBG: Battlegrounds is turning up the hype with Update 37.2, and it’s not just about the usual loot drops. This patch marks the debut of a full-blown PUBG x G-DRAGON collaboration, complete with special stages, themed landmarks, and in-game nods to the K-pop icon himself.
Meanwhile, Miramar’s Minas Generales has been redesigned for smoother gameplay. The new layout simplifies paths, adds more cover, and improves building visuals and lighting to even out the high-ground fight dynamics. The update also introduces new tactical tools: movable deathboxes let players strategically reposition loot containers—though they’ll drop if you’re knocked—and pullable doors replace the old “push” system, giving players more control during tense close-quarters fights.
The G-DRAGON content, however, is front and center. Emote Stages themed around the artist now appear on starting islands across Erangel, Miramar, Vikendi, Taego, Deston, and Rondo. Performing a G-DRAGON emote displays corresponding album art on-screen. Miramar’s Truck Stop has been turned into a pop culture landmark styled after G-DRAGON’s “PO₩ER” music video, with nearby gas stations, fan rooms, care packages, Blue Chip Towers, and even branded planes completing the crossover aesthetic.
Rounding out the patch is a new Survivor Pass, along with seasonal flair like the Punk Bunny’s Hoppy Chuseok pack and XingHun’s Tiger Collection, giving players more ways to personalize their Battlegrounds experience.
